What's the most interesting thing that you do every week?

Go to the beach with my wife, son, and two dogs.

What do you wish more people knew about?

Personal finance! Hopefully, all high schools will soon require a personal finance class for graduation.

Where do you think the financial industry is going?

I think it’s becoming more transparent. Which is a good thing!

What did you want to be when you grew up?

The starting third baseman for the Cleveland Indians.

What's been your most interesting job?

For three years in my early twenties, I worked as a traveling 401(k) education specialist. I presented to employees of all kinds of different companies. I learned a lot and was able to see a big part of the country.
