401 (k) & Financial Wellness
How to make the most of YOUR retirement and financial coaching benefits.
Getting Started (accordion)
When can I join?
You can join the plan on the first of the month after you’ve completed 3 months of service.
For example: If you start January 2, 2024, you will be eligible on April 2nd, 2024, and will be enrolled on May 1, 2024.
Does my employer contribute?
Mammini Company contributes $1.00 for every $1.00 you save, up to a 3% savings level. Later on, the company contributes $0.50 for every $1.00 you save, up to a 5% level. To receive employer contributions, you must contribute – even if it’s a small amount.
Don’t pass up free money!
To maximize your benefit from Mammini Company, aim to save at least 6%.
Beginning January 1, 2024, the Mammini Company match will double! If you save 5% they will add 4% to your 401(k) account.
What happens if I do nothing?
Automatic Enrollment: To make it easy, you automatically enroll in the 401(k) plan at a 6% savings level. Contributions are deducted from your paycheck before taxes, unless you make a different election.
If you do not wish to participate, you must login to opt out!

What if I need to take money out?
Saving in a retirement plan is, of course, intended to be a long-term investment for you. If you are over the age of 59.5 you can take an in-service distribution.
Loans can be taken from employee deferrals only. The minimum loan is $1000 and the maximum loan is the lesser of 50% of your deferrals or $50,000.
In the event of an emergency, the plan does allow for Hardship Distributions.
Call us to discuss your situation at (854) 444-9750.
What if I change jobs?
Don’t worry; you don’t lose the savings you contributed. Your employer may have rules about how much of their employer contributions you get to keep. You can transfer your savings to another plan, a personal IRA, or, as a last resort, you can cash out.
Before you decide, an advisor at Mammini Company can help you understand and navigate your decisions for your 401(k) and beyond! (I am beginning to hate that phrase, please let’s mix it up a bit! -Cam)

Should I designate beneficiaries?
In the event of your passing, your savings wil transfer into the ownership of your named beneficiaries.
Make sure your named beneficiaries are up to date! The most common reasons to make changes are due to marriage, divorce, or having children.
Visit 401k.com to view and update your beneficiaries.
